In traditional Chinese culture, all things begin with “QI” (炁) since the very beginning when the universe was born.“QI” holds the power of perpetuation. It is pure, transcendent, at the same time keeps a harmonious relationship with nature. “QI” is present throughout every aspect in the mankind. 

2019 marked the 20th anniversary since artist Ren Zhe first started creating sculptures. 36 pieces of his sculptures were exhibited at the 600-year old Taimiao in Beijing, showcasing years of artistic experience as well as an exploration of meanings in life.
