[Zoom LIVE] Buddhism and International Modern Art

Buddhism is presented in art, not only traditional painting and statues, since the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, it has become an important source of creation and inspiration.

Felix Kwok, Sotheby’s Director of Asia, will introduce precious collections from museums worldwide and outstanding artworks he encountered throughout his career. By comparing these works with the collection of Tsz Shan Monastery Buddhist Art Museum, and analysing the relationship between Buddhism and modern art around the world, we can learn about Buddhism’s artistic impact.
