
A Path to Glory - Jin Yong's Centennial Memorial, The World of Wuxia 2024
Accompanied by the beautiful scenery of Victoria Harbour and a distant view of the internationally renowned skyline, the "A Path to Glory - Jin Yong's Centennial Memorial, The World of Wuxia" was opened to public for free from 15 March at 1 PM in Edinburgh Place, Central. This meticulously selected exhibition, located on the Central harbour, combined intricately sculpted iconic characters from Jin Yong's novels by renowned sculptor Ren Zhe, with modern innovative digital art media, provided visitors with an immersive experience.
In addition to showcasing 10 sculptures of Jin Yong's characters, the exhibition also featured a Mongolian yurt inspired by "The Eagle-shooting Heroes." The yurt offered multilingual audio guidance and augmented reality technology experience, allowing visitors to enjoy an immersive journey.
Furthermore, the exhibition presented props used in previous Jin Yong novel television dramas and regularly hosted literary and interactive experiences such as reading sessions, concerts, and painting workshops. The exhibition aims to showcase the profound cultural heritage of Chinese civilization found in Jin Yong's novels and to immerse the audience in the humanistic spirit within them, leading the audience into the martial arts world created by Jin Yong.
