About the event
BAC is pleased to present our first online virtual solo exhibition, “Contactless”, by visual story-telling artist Louise Soloway Chan. Five paintings are to be auctioned online at the end of the exhibition. All proceeds from this exhibition will be donated to BAC’s charity partner, InspiringHK Sports Foundation, to provide sporting opportunities for underprivileged families, giving them an outlet for emotional release in face of these challenging times.
With the unprecedented challenges that the Coronavirus has left us to face today, Louise reflects on these unusual times and explores the lack of ‘contact’ brought between humans. Usual means of communication have been forced to change in lieu of face-to-face interactions, intensifying this sense of reclusiveness. Mental and physical barriers had also been imposed to alleviate the impact of COVID-19.
During the virtual exhibition, the artist Louise will give a Guided Tour with her audio voice recorded in the UK.
